TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Deposits and advance payments for all production and sound engineering services are non-refundable and constitute a commitment fee for reserved studio time and resources. Should a project be terminated by the client during the production phase, a cancellation fee will be applied to cover incurred costs and reserved capacity. For projects initiated at a discounted rate, this fee is set at a minimum of £500, or the full value of the work completed to date, whichever is greater. This policy ensures that my commitment to your project remains sustainable and professional throughout the production lifecycle.

My standard rates are designed to provide the highest level of quality, including full-day production and comprehensive amendment support. For projects requiring a discounted rate, I offer a tailored service package that includes adjusted production timelines and a defined number of amendments to ensure the project remains sustainable and focused.

Production Services and Copyright Ownership

  1. Payment and Ownership: All sound recordings produced by the Producer remain the joint property of the Producer and the Artist until the full advertised price for production services has been received in cleared funds.

  2. Conditional Assignment: Upon receipt of partial payment or in the event of a discounted fee, the Producer retains a partial ownership interest in the master recording. The Artist is granted a non-exclusive license to use the recording, provided that the Producer is credited as a co-owner.

  3. Royalty Entitlement: In consideration for any discount provided to the Artist from the Producer’s standard advertised rate, the Artist agrees to pay the Producer a royalty fee of 20% on all gross revenue generated from the exploitation of the master recording. Notwithstanding the foregoing, the Producer may, at their sole and absolute discretion, waive this royalty entitlement in writing, provided such waiver is delivered to the Artist prior to the commencement of the relevant accounting period.

All works are ultimately undertaken in good faith, with a dedicated commitment to creating uplifting and inspiring music for the world.
